Privacy Policy
This policy explains what I collect when you use huddyballs.com, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. It's written to be read, not to be impressive.
Who I am
This site is operated by Hudson Ball, trading as huddyballs, in Queensland, Australia. Contact: support@huddyballs.com.
What I collect
- What you give me. Your name, email address and phone number when you fill in a form on this site.
- What your browser sends. Standard technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and the pages you viewed.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers. Cookies and similar technologies set by this site and by advertising platforms, used to measure whether an ad led to a form being filled in.
Why I collect it
- To send you the free training you asked for and to follow up about it.
- To contact you about booking or attending a call, including by email, SMS and phone.
- To measure which ads and pages work, so I stop paying for the ones that don't.
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
Who it's shared with
Service providers that run parts of this operation on my behalf — a customer relationship manager for contact records and messaging, an email and SMS provider, a video host, website hosting, and advertising and analytics platforms. They may only use it to provide their service to me.
I do not sell your personal information. Some of these providers are located overseas, including in the United States, so your information may be stored or processed outside Australia.
Marketing messages
If you give me your details you're agreeing to receive marketing emails, SMS and calls from me about my training and services. You can opt out at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to an SMS, or email support@huddyballs.com. Opting out of marketing doesn't stop messages that are strictly about a call you've booked.
How long it's kept
For as long as needed for the purposes above, and after that for as long as required by law. If you ask me to delete your information I'll do so unless I'm required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it if it's wrong, or ask me to delete it. Email support@huddyballs.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with how I've handled a privacy issue you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
This site and the advertising platforms it uses may set cookies to remember your session and to attribute a form submission back to an ad. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure and I can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site isn't directed at anyone under 18 and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
